Built for extreme cold
Full heating power down to −20°C
A heat pump generally loses power as the cold sets in. The Max Heat holds 100% of its heating capacity down to −20°C, then keeps heating all the way down to −30°C.
Even on a −15°C morning, it puts out more than twice the heat of a baseboard heater for the same amount of electricity.

In summer, once the room reaches the right temperature, the louver closes and air flows out through tiny openings. It spreads gently, with no cold draft blowing on you.

It weighs the temperature inside and out, your set temperature, and how long it has been running, then adjusts itself. AI Energy mode is designed to help lower your consumption.

This maintenance cycle frosts the indoor heat exchanger, thaws it, then dries it. As the ice melts, it washes away dust and dirt.

- Samsung's sheet doesn't detail the 24,000 BTU size. If it interests you, ask us for its data when you request your quote.
- The A2L leak detector doesn't come with the unit. If your installation needs one, we'll include it in your quote.
- You'll see a 12-year warranty on Samsung's sheet. It only applies when a Samsung Preferred Plus installer installs the unit and registers it with Samsung. When our team installs your heat pump, the warranty is 5 years on parts and 7 years on the compressor.

Which Samsung heat pump size should I choose?
It mostly depends on the area to heat, how well your home is insulated, and how the rooms are laid out. Tell us about your space in the form, and we'll take it into account to suggest the right size.
How much does an installed Samsung heat pump cost?
The price depends on the size you choose and on your installation, which is why we confirm it in your quote. The quote includes the unit, labour, and materials, with no hidden fees. The final connection to the electrical panel must be done by a qualified electrician and is not part of the base package.
What warranty comes with the Samsung Max Heat?
Samsung covers parts for 5 years and the compressor for 7 years, and our installation is warranted as well. The 12-year warranty you'll see on Samsung's sheet only applies to units installed and registered by a Samsung Preferred Plus installer.
Samsung or Direct Air: which one should I choose?
Both keep heating in extreme cold, and we install either one. The Max Heat stands out mainly for its WindFree™ technology, which spreads air without cold drafts. If winter often drops below −30°C where you live, the Direct Air Extreme cold series is the better fit, since it heats down to −35°C.
